Program Overview
In Relationship is a self-led email and video series designed to liberate you from the patterns that create disharmony in your relationship and clarify the practices that create enduring connection, stability and satisfaction. The program includes all the common themes that are typically discussed in private sessions. It works very well as a stand alone offering or as a complement to sessions.
Please Note: ‘In Relationship’ is not suitable for couples on the brink of separation, if this is your situation please book 2-3 Private Sessions.

Week-by-Week Outline
Week 1: The Ingredients of Relationship Longevity
In the first week, we explore what makes relationships last — not just in duration, but in depth and mutual wellbeing. We will set the foundation for the entire program by identifying the key ingredients that sustain healthy, meaningful and satisfying connection over time.
We’ll cover:
The essential behaviours, rituals and routines that build long-term relational health
How to develop compatibility, and align values and visions
The importance of balancing separateness and togetherness
How to live happily with different histories, temperaments, preferences, interests, attachment styles etc
The 2 foundations of secure relationships and, the wise practice of ongoing clarity and agreement
Week 2: Mindful Communication and Connection
This week focusses on how communication fosters understanding and shapes the quality of our relationships. Mindful communication isn’t just about speaking thoughtfully; it’s about listening deeply, attuning to triggers, and staying present in moments of disconnection or discomfort.
We’ll cover:
Committing to the warm-hearted practices of curiosity, consideration and kindness
The essential skills of Self and Co-Regulation
The art of speaking and listening with awareness and attunement
How to stay connected when tension is arises and avoid the patterns of shut down or escalation
How to have difficult conversations which result in increased closeness and trust
‘The Intimacy Spectrum’ and the skill of adapting to the changing landscape of intimate life
Week 3: Maintaining Stability Amidst Turbulence, Change & Stagnancy
Relationships are dynamic — they ebb, flow, evolve, and sometimes stall. This week, we explore how to stay grounded in yourself when connection feels shaky, situations are shifting, or you’re stuck in a stretch of emotional flatness
We’ll cover:
How to remain steady within yourself when uncertainty arises
The importance of open communication and care in times of change
Recognising stagnancy or complacency in yourself and how to shift out of it
Accepting the inevitability of disappointment and dissatisfaction as a part of relationship life
Understanding what triggers disloyalty, infidelity and betrayal and the antidotes to getting stuck in resentment when your choice is to stay
Week 4: Nurturing The Bond and Holding The Course
In our final week, we turn toward what it means to consistently care for yourself and ‘the other’ over time — especially through changing seasons, competing demands and inevitable curveballs. We will clarify the daily practices that will nurture your wellbeing and the wellbeing of ‘the other’ through the years – this is the elixir of relationship longevity.
We’ll cover:
Rituals of Connection
Nurturing the bond through time to your self and supporting the other to do the same
How to navigate competing needs without testing the bond
The essential practice of mutual Self Responsibility
Clarifying what ‘holding the course’ looks like for you, and how to stay aligned with it
